Playgroup and Nursery -LKG-UKG
We believe that every child is unique and gifted. In these early years, we provide them with an educational programme which caters to all types of learners. Here the emphasis is on ‘Discover And Learn’ with highly interactive teaching methodology. The curriculum has been designed for overall development of the children taking into account their cognitive, physical, social, emotional and sensorial abilities.
To nurture and develop our little angels we provide them with a secure and homely environment and hence the school has provided them with their own pre-primary building.
Playgroup
At Little Angel we provide our toddlers with specially designed curriculum which nourishes and nurtures their individual potentials with tender motherly love and care.
Classrooms
Well lit spacious classrooms with their own reading corner and Montessori corner. We have 1:13 faculty, student ratio.This ensures that each student gets personalized attention from the faculty members.
Sports
‘A healthy mind resides in a healthy body’. To enhance their fitness and gross motor skills we have an age appropriate sports and fitness program for our little ones.
English Lab
Here the kids get a first-hand experience of reading. They develop words and spellings which guides them to conquer the art of reading and enhance their fluency in English.
Field Trips
‘Seeing is Believing’. As a part of experiential learning we take our children on field trips to various places to actually get first hand information in different fields of work.
Math Lab
This lab provides an opportunity to the students to discover mathematics by performing hands-on activity. Various activities help the students to visualize, reason and engage their minds actively. It is a place where students enjoy Math through exploration and where numbers become their friends.
Story Telling Sessions
These interactive sessions open up a whole new world for the students. It is a place that gives wings to their imagination. It helps them understand new words, develop their language
and helps them to freely express their opinions as well.
Whispering Tales
To strengthen the parent-child bond we send read-aloud stories with interesting activities which require parent-child’s active participation at home.
EPL – Exercise of Practical Life
To enhance a child’s ability to concentrate, to develop co-ordination of body and to make them independent, we conduct various EPL activities on a weekly basis.
Circle Time
This is quality time that the educator spends with the child. Here the children are encouraged to put forth their views. This helps them to open up and share their ideas.
Sanskar
Little Angel preschool provides a special Shloka session for kids which has created a miraculous impact on them. Chanting Shlokas improves their pronunciation and helps to strengthen their memory.
Theme Time
We have pre-planned themes for every month in which students are made aware of their surroundings and basic knowledge of science and environment is shared with them.
Audio Visual Room
It creates a stimulating interactive environment which is more conducive to learning. It strengthens the abstract concepts through visual presentation.
Hygiene
Washrooms have been designed considering the needs of our little angels. Children are also taught basic hygiene habits such as washing hands before and after eating.
Round-Up
We conduct a bimonthly parent-child Round-up activity. Here the children present what knowledge they have gained to their parents.
