Shantiniketan School began as a dream to create a great learning space for children to grow, study, and play. The dream crystallised into reality for me in 2006, when we started the school on a modest note. Over the years, we have worked hard and diligently to remain relevant on the fast-changing educational landscape and have grown from strength to strength to become one of the leading schools in Kolhapur City.

The School is an integral part of the D Y Patil Group, committed to delivering quality teaching and learning and has developed a reputation for academic excellence, child-centred learning and a commitment to inclusive education. Our endeavour is to provide an enriching and holistic educational experience – complete with high academic growth, opportunities for all-round development and happy memories of school life for all our students. I have always believed that each and every student should feel included and integrated, regardless of background, race and culture. So we put our utmost efforts to make our students feel welcome, safe and supported through out their learning journey with us.

At Shantiniketan, we are constantly evolving and innovating. We encourage our students to have a mind-set that welcomes change and flexibility. We celebrate diversity and promote social responsibility making sure that our students grow in confidence and experience a sense of achievement and fulfilment important in their growing years. Our goal is to allow students and staff the opportunity to reach their full potential and be ‘future ready’.

I commence every academic year with a renewed passion to see how far we can push ourselves to create limitless opportunities for the students we serve. I am justifiably proud of the superb team work that has made us what we are today- “a school of repute and good standing.” We constantly strive to ensure that our collective efforts in the ‘pursuit of excellence’ are as strong as the hopes and aspirations of our students and parents!
