FOUNDATIONAL STAGE
(NURSERY, LKG, UKG)
We believe that every child is unique and gifted. In this early stage we provide them with an educational programme which caters to all types of learners. Here the emphasis is on ‘Discover And Learn’ with highly interactive teaching methodology. The curriculum has been designed for overall development of the children taking into account their cognitive, physical, social, emotional and sensorial abilities.
To nurture and develop our little angels we provide them with a secure and homely environment and hence the school has provided them with their own new pre primary building.
CLASSROOMS : Well lit spacious classrooms with their own set of reading corner and montessori corner. We have 1:15 faculty, student ratio. This ensures each student gets personalized attention from the faculty members.
ENGLISH LAB : Here the kids get a first hand experience of reading. They develop words and spellings which guides them to conquer the art of reading and enhance their fluency in English.
SPORTS : ‘Healthy mind resides in healthy body’. To enhance their fitness and gross motor skills we have an age-appropriate sports and fitness program for our little ones.
FIELD TRIP : ‘Seeing is Believing’. As a part of experiential learning we take our children on field trips to various places to actually get first hand information on different concepts.
CIRCLE TIME / THEME TIME : This is quality time that the educator spends with the child. Here the children are encouraged to put forth their views. This helps them to open up and share their ideas.
SANSKARS : Little Angel preschool provides a special Shloka session for kids which has created a miraculous impact on them. Chanting Shlokas has improved their pronunciation and helped
them to strengthen their memory.
HYGIENE : Washrooms have been designed considering the needs of our little angels. Children are also taught basic hygiene habits such as washing hands before and after eating.
WORKSHOP FOR PARENTS : We have regular Parents Workshop, where teachers conduct a bi- monthly workshops for parents to enable them to know the agenda of the school for next two months and help their child learn accordingly. This helps the educators and parents to bond better. Children benefit when adults around them share common values about child rearing, communicate with one another and give the child consistent support and guidance.
MATH LAB : This lab provides an opportunity to the students to discover mathematics by performing hands on activity. Various activities help the students to visualize, reason and engage their minds actively. It is a place where students enjoy Math through exploration and
where numbers become their friends.
AUDIO-VISUAL ROOM : It creates a stimulating interactive environment which is more conducive to learning. It strengthens the abstract concepts through visual presentation.
STORY TELLING SESSIONS : These interactive sessions open up a whole new world for the students. It is a place that gives wings to their imagination. It helps them understand new words, develop their language and helps them to freely express their opinions as well.
EPL- EXERCISE OF PRACTICAL LIFE (KHOJ) : To enhance child’s ability to concentrate, to develop co-ordination of body and to make them independent, we conduct various EPL activities regularly.

UNIQUE PEDAGOGY FOR ENGLISH & MATHEMATICS
1. ENGLISH : We have adapted a 21st century approach for language enhancement, where a unique pedagogy of enhancing language skills through extensive reading and working on linguistic application is in use.
2. MATHEMATICS : We have a unique methodology of teaching Math through concept clearance sessions supported by applications which supplements the skills i.e. critical thinking, logical analysis and reasoning. There is an extensive focus on concept clearance and the reflection of learning.
CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES :
There are a host of activities designed to nurture and develop all facets of a child’s personality.
MUSIC: Music is the soul of the universe and pours life into everything. Our Maestros familiarise our students with both Indian and Western music.
DANCE : Dance is an expression of grace and elegance. Our expert faculty trains students to perform various forms of dance like Contemporary, Bollywood, Zumba, Hip Hop and Indian Classical Dance.
SPORTS : To enhance fitness and gross motor skills we have a well structured sports and fitness programme for our students of all age group.
PHYSICAL FITNESS/ACTIVITIES : Many Indoor and Outdoor activities are conducted which not only help them to be physically fit
and fine but also increases their stamina, concentration and agility. For all round development of the child, Gymnastics is introduced.
ART & CRAFT : The ultimate way to use imagination, impression, expression and creation is through art and craft and we encourage our students to explore their potential to the fullest.
JOY OF GIVING : Joy of Giving week is celebrated to imbibe the value of social responsibility and a sense of giving back to the society. In this venture children donate to the underprivileged and experience the joy of giving.
MOVIE TIME : Cinema has been one of the greatest influences in our modern world. It’s a combination of entertainment and aesthetics.
Movie Time enables the students to understand certain value which when imparted in a classroom can be easily reinforced through a visual.
SHLOKA (INTEGRATED WITH MUSIC) : Shloka is integrated in the curriculum to enhance enunciation and articulation. It helps the mind to improve speech and concentration.
SWIMMING : Health is Wealth. To imbibe this ideal, swimming activity has been introduced. to encourage skill development and enjoyment of water, with the hope to increase the number of pupils leaving school with water confidence and water safety awareness.
EXTERNAL EXAM : External exams like S.O.F. and NSTSE etc are conducted in the school from class I onwards.
EXCURSION AND FIELD VISITS : Educational tours are organized from time to time. Children also stay connected with the latest
information which results in easy-retention of the subject matter.
KARADI PATH : We have opted for this language enhancement programme to facilitate learning of English. It’s a
unique approach for learning English through music and stories.
